Never forget where you came from

Poetry

Poem written in 12/13/2007 @ 3.15 am

That's when I try
to get words together
in a simple and misterious way
so they can last forever
(at least in my memory)
making me think of what I thought I knew
Maybe these words can go further
and actually mean something for others
this would be such great joy
meaning I actually was here
I really felt something
That's when I look for a good word
to put an end on things
I'm not sure I can finish.

Serious?

Don't take me so seriously
Unless you take me with you
Then you may start to think about it
Though I don't guarantee any truth
We can be pretty good on pretending
And as he always says: everybody lies
But maybe at some point of the road
I'll begin to think about the possibility
Sometimes it's better to knock jokes off
And enjoy something real instead of a thought
Could have, would have and so on
Can get yourself so tired and scared
Strength will find no reason to come
Taking you as seriously as you may take me
Will be the hardest thing I've ever had to do
Well if I see we are getting somewhere...
I can not find a reason not to.

Poem written in 5/7/07

Cuz when you meet someone
you never thought you would
When this person happens
to be just like you
That's when you know...
the search is over...
Now you have a safe point
There's no need to look around
You already know what's found
But you also know it will be over
Sooner or later dreams ain't on
And someone by your side
will make desire grow
Looking at only one,
will make sense no more
Then you'll find out
what's love is now gone
You'll end up like you begun
Alone.

Whoever thought things would always be like this was wrong.
Always and Forever are a tricky pair of twins who like to think,
Change and Growth shall never approach.
Yeah we all know,
changes are not always for good
and growing up...oh it hurts too much.
But isn't it attractive to be wrong?
and isn't being different something to be proud of?
I gotta say I don't know for sure.
Sometimes I really think it's good.
Then with Change and Growth I hang out.
Though when happiness stops by
All I can think of are them...Always and Forever...
Happiness, however, is as hurried as love.
As it gets further, one setence stands out:

What we can really do is try
